The first APOC datasheet I ever dreamed of was a Stormtrooper platoon, based around a special character. Now with the imminent release of the new codex I'm putting my ideas out to the dakka folk!

So far I have 25 Stormtroopers, and another 10 Kaskrin to be built and painted. I'm hoping with these 35 elite troops I'll be able to arrange some special scenarios, and maybe even an APOC formation where they all ride in Valkryries!

So does the dakka community think this is a good idea? Are stormtroopers worth it? Or are they just over priced and under achievers?

If you think a stormtrooper platoon is a cool idea, then you owe it to yourself to ignore any thoughts of it's effectiveness in battle.

Im pretty much a dumb guy when it comes to IG. But wouldnt that cost WAY more then the effectiveness of said army?

Who cares in Apocalypse, this just gave me an Idea for a Black Hawk down Apoc force with Valks, Vendettas, Thunderbolts, Lightnings, and maybe some ground forces.
