Hello, Im looking for 40k gamers in Dallas, Closer to Irving. the GW store in grapevine didnt have anything for me, but I'm not far from them.
I'm very relaxed and am fine with proxies and ridiculous conversions (i have a plays as chaos "angelic" army). Let me know if anyone is in the area.

Since the denton group is the group that I keep seeing appear on this forum, I'd seriously consider it, But denton is too far to travel on any but the rarest days. All the same, what events do you have planned in the future?

I think there is a place in Bedford. Think it is called Genreration X, plus there is Lone Star Comics in Arlington. Not really sure how far they are from you, or if there is any regular gaming going on there. Might be worth while to take a look.

To answer your question about the Denton gaming group (which I am also a part of). We currently host games every other Saturday. Everyone that shows up on said saturdays are able to get a game in and sometimes two since we like to start early. At the moment its a bit casual and we don't have any tourneys or anything planned as of yet, but we are still working with the local shop here to allocate more tables, time, and funding for the 40k hobby.
Its also worthwhile to point out that they have a good discount (about 20-25% off retail) of their product. PM me if you want any more information.

Area 51 in Grapevine every Friday night, Games Workshop store in Grapevine Mills every Monday evening. Those are the most consistent crowds you will find, plus Area 51 sometimes stays open til 1 or so in the morning. Any other shops can say they have them but it's kinda dicey.

Besides the locations already mentioned. Comic Asylum in Garland has Friday night 40K events pretty much every week. Hobbytown USA in Dallas and Plano generally have a fair amount of gaming on Saturdays during the middle of the day. If you haven't done so, check out the website www.Adeptusnorthtexas.com
To Axyl, I'm interested in hearing more about the Denton gaming group, can you post or PM me please.

I'm one of the regulars at the Comic Asylum in Richardson; brought up in a previous post. We're pretty consistent on Friday nights. They've started 1000 point Sundays and we're thinking about Thursday night as well.
We've also just started an Apocalypse League. I'll put a link to their Forum below.
Good Luck,
Dax
