Hey guys, i just want to take a gander on this game, and i was just wondering, if you just buy the retail game, the one in the box, do you get a 30 day game card as well? or do i have to buy those separately? thanks!

I played it for a couple months. It is a fun game, but the decision between keeping my WoW character that I had spent a lot of time on, and starting a new MMO while dropping WoW, resulted in no more WAR for me. If you aren't invested in any other MMO I'd say go for it.

The retailbox of WAR includes 30 days of gametime.

As far as the game goes, I still have my account open but I don't I'll resub. WAR endgame at the moment is the same itemgrind as in WoW only covered with a very wathered down pvp sauce. So if itemgrinding isn't your thing stay away from it.

be prepared though, its a great game with good populated servers, if you go on a low pop server is sucks bad... real bad....

I'm fairly certain that you don't need to do anything. Once you install, set up your account and payment information for the monthly fee, you will automatically be given a free 30 days before then begin charging your credit card.
