Hi all,

My name is Hans Posthumus, 18 years old and i'm from the Netherlands.

I'm currently studying engineering and architecture.

When I was 14 I've played Lord of The Rings tabletop for a while but I did not like the style and all.

Now after 4 years I accidently ran into a modelshop in Germany and fell in love with Warhammer 40K. So a couple of months ago I went and bought the Attack on Black Reach pack.

I now finished paint all the black reach models and started with a Tau battle-suit. I'm seriously thinking about starting a tau army. What do you suggest, a Battleforce or seperate items?

Just so you know, i'm a poor painter and I'm hoping to become a less poor painter. Cause of bad finance I do not have many different resources to use. Well C&C are allways welcome.

Welcome,and oh as to your question on battle force or seprate items I say go for the battle force it gives you a solid starting core for your army.

Welcome to the boards! I agree go for the battle force first as once assembled you have a legal army you can start practicing with, and with practice your painting will come along nicely my friend!
