Just wondering - are the Dogs of War and Kislev actual army lists for 7ed of Fantasy? They used to actually have models for both, but I haven't seen anything except for rules for Kislev in Warmaster.

If someone could point me towards the rules for DoW army I would appreciate it.

At one point there was a White Dwarf that had a Kislev mini armybook included. THat was long ago however and the rules are about as legal and useful as Chaos Dwarfs and Dogs of War. If you want to use the models just play Empire and use them as counts-as.

There is an offical DoW armylist around in pdf format, but unfortunately gw doesn't seem to host it anymore on their site (they used to). You may find it via Google or alternatively some kind dow-player may email it to you. The same DoW list also appeared in 2 parts in 2 consecutive white dwarfs years ago iirc, so you may find the list that way too.

The Kislev list came out years ago in a small booklet (I think you may have gotten it with some white dwarf or something like that). I'm not sure if it's around in pdf format, and if not, it may be a bit of a hassle to hunt the list down.

Well, it appears if I have to work this hard to find it - it's not being supported :(

Thanks, though.

I've never seen the Kislev rules myself; but I do have the DoW and Chaos Dwarf rules. If you want them then just message me.

The DoW and Kislev rules are in a Warhammer Compendium.

They should also be downloadable (somewhere).

Lately, GW has been de-supporting DoW for Tournament play. If you want to play DoW, I'd tell them you're bringing Empire and show up with DoW.

As DoW are a bottom-tier army, I doubt anyone would have an issue with it.

It's only the GW GT's that aren't allowing Chaos Dwarfs and Dogs of War at this point and since they don't have any tournaments this year; no worries. The Indy GT circuit is pretty cool about letting them in from my experience.

I hope that new army for WH is Kislev, they are really the only army that I would really be interested in buying nowadays.

How could you not like short assyrians running around with bulls?
