No, plain in simple it is made for only the human body and therefore weakling xenos bodys cant support it

Not a chance. If they can't make it work on half the human population (women) and can't make it work on men over a certain age there isn't a hope in hell they're gonna make it work on something like an Ork.

For what we know most xenos have radically different biologies,so my answer is a big NO.

Nope, Genetics. To clarify, there's even large sections of the young male human population that are geneticly incompatable with the geneseed.

You remember right. That's straight from the Holy Book, aka Rogue Trader. Page 177 to be precise. ;-)

Not that the High Lords of Terra would sanction making a hybrid a marine - or any remotely traditional Marine chapter would try it.

The Holy book also says the Ultramarines are 3rd founding and Leman Russ is a Guard Sergeant. I'd just ignore a lot of it tbh.

Well....what about Tyranids! Now, they wouldn't necessarily be Space Marines per se, however, they would definately absorb the geneseed of the Marines they killed!

They absorb the Genetic Material, break it down, and reuse it. It's actually theorised that Space Marine DNA was used to make Tyrant Guard (or Warriors, can't find my old Nid Codex)

What about koot? Can the shapers absorb the DNA from the enemies they kill/eat?

The SM geneseed was made specifically ofr human DNA. If the Emperor had gathered some aliens and studied their DNA, he could have developed SM geneseed for, say, and Eldar male. But he wouldn't want to. it would be silly.

From a purely biological point of view, Xenos immune systems would attack the geneseed as their body would see it as a foreign invader.

Also, with some clever hormone therapy you could probably get it to work on women, but they would end up looking like the blokes anyway The reason that it doesn't work on women is that their bodies don't produce the same hormones as men (which is actually untrue, they just don't produce as much) so if you injected them with the right amount at the right time you could artificially trigger the responses from the geneseed.

That's what I was thinking with the SOB's. But if you have some "clever" xenos that can manlipuate DNA (e.g. 'nids) they can make the geneseed work for them or even improve on it.

A huge percentige of the human hosts die, Xenos would drop like flys.

They evolved on different planets so their biology would be completly differnt. You've got a better chance of it working on a Cat.

Obviously it would work fine on Kroot and Nids. In fact, those species would be able to screen the geneseed, select only the characteristics they wanted, and pass them on to their children as part of their own genotype. The children would not need implantation of geneseed, they would grow it themselves.

This bodes ill for the Imperium.
