Hello everyone,
I've been lurking for quite a white and finally decided to post.
I'm a girl, I play 40k (use to play Fantasy and Mordheim as well). I started playing around 1998-99 when i use to manage a game store and was required to learn how to play as part of my job.
After the game store closed i put down my army and started working a normal desk job for years. Well I finally run my own business and i can do what ever i want when i want. Which leads to the problem of me being a work-a-holic and never taking time for myself.
My boyfriend and all of our other friends started playing and painting 40k figs recently (the boys of course have been playing for many years) and I've been wanting to make time for my friends and this was something i could join in on.
Well as most of you know 40k has changed quite a bit since 3rd edition and i haven't played since then. Heck the whole army list has changed and now i'm left painting up bunch of new minis for my army.
At the time i had a 2000+ point fully painted army and well It's still around the same although i'm expanding now with an Inquisitor Lord and Retinue, Landraider, Exorcist, and what ever else i can get my hands on.
I still have my Sisters Mordheim warband and I have most of my kick ass Skaven army, (I sold most of my skaven army on Ebay years ago when i needed cash to pay the bills)
So yeah, that is me...

Yeah i was pretty annoyed that they didn't come out with a sisters codex when i was playing. I stopped way before the WH codex came out.

Unfortunately, I didn't hold onto my army, so I had to start from scratch! I'll go look for your painting thread and check out your army
About being a workaholic- tell me about it! I'm just starting a teaching residency, and I've been working just about every waking moment this week!! They say the first year is rough, and I'm finding that out  . But you've got to take time for yourself and friends... and this is a nice way to do it

Brutal I wouldn't have started again if i didn't hold onto my army i'm too stubborn for that. I would have just picked up fun minis to paint instead since i do enjoy painting.

If a Sista cuaght vampirism (mabye from chaos) what would she do?

Well if you really want me to answer that i say she would go crazy(ier) and start sucking the blood of the unclean in order to cleanse the universe of them and eventually have to be 'put down' by her saner sisters.
Oh and it's a great movie well worth the watch even though it has Keanu Reeves in it ( i seriously can only picture him in Bill & Ted).

Welcome fellow Sisters of Battle player.
For a brief 5th ed SoB summary in tactics and builds, I suggest you check out Warseer Ixe's "THE CODEX IXICA" PDF:

There you will find which units are effective in 5th ed, which I hope will save you money when you decide to expand your SoB army.
Also, there's rumour afloat that Sisters are getting a new codex sometime this year, so keep your eyes peeled!
