I would definitely buy more GW miniatures..
Never - I dont collect, am happy with what I have or buy when I've painted what I have
If they were a little cheaper
If they were much cheaper
If I had more money
If new armies come out
If old armies were updated significantly
If production quality was improved
If model/sculpt quality was improved
If there were more third party producers (forgeworld, ultraforge, pig iron, etc)
If models were released in limited batches for a limited time only
If new game systems came out

I voted for Model/Scult quality.

I do buy lots of GW stuff on a monthly basis but after seeing the two new tanks they've released I'm disappointed by them. Shoddily made, smaller than the older vehicles and missing accessory kits while asking £5 more.

Armies:
(CSM/HH) - Iron Warriors; Death Guard; World Eaters; Night Lords
IG - Vestfalian Expeditionary
Force (Solar Auxilia - HH)
SM - Blades of Inaros (Homebrew)
DE - Kabal of Ouroboros

YO DAKKA DAKKA!

I've been saying since the last price rise, I was okay when they were reasonably overpriced. It's getting a tad silly now. 'A little cheaper' because I was ok with the previous prices, but obviously I'd buy even more if they were significantly cheaper. A new army might do it for me too, but it would depend...

I went for more money because the price doesn't really over concern me it is a good hobby so I am willing to go the extra mile.
The problem with prices is that not enough people buy.

I put "a little cheaper" because I only started playing just before the price rise. The boxes of metals are now only a little overpriced with the exception of Grey Knight Terminators and possibly some others. The plastics are the main offenders, particularly the marines, $55 Australian is pushing it a little too far. I would pay $35 for a box of plastics, the guardsmen are that price. I picked Grey Knights mainly because they're metal, not to mention awesome. At least most of the metals are good value.

If my income somehow doubled ( ) I would increase my miniatures budget from $25 a month to $50 a month, and then it would take a price from of about 25% for me to generate much enthusiasm. Right now, I'm making a unit of flash gitz. The bodies are from Micro Arts studios and the heads/weapons are from Maxmini. Only the arms are from GW, and that's just because they were already in my bitz box. After that, my Ork army is gonna be done for awhile.

20% cheaper than they are now would be reasonable if not a but Utopian.

The main reason I want them to be cheaper, is because the rate they are raising prices and the excuses they use to defend them is borderline appealing to me.

As soon as the "plastic and metal toy soldiers" part starts to take focus in their tactics I will support them.

I would buy more if i could commission models to be made to my specifications. For example, a different titan for the eldar cause the ones they have at the moment aren't very cool. I'd like to design my own then have them add it to the codex.

I voted 'if I had more money', because even though the prices sting, I dont think I would buy more than I do now if they were cheaper. Generally it takes me so long to finish units that affording more isnt an issue

That said, it was a difficult choice. The last option should really be 'all of the above'

Not soo much better sculpt quality, but better fitting with plastic kits.
even with all the tech they use now alot of kits are a pain in the ass to fit together, and tend to need GS'ing to fill gaps.

Also the same with metal models, once again they have huge gaps due to casting, which means using up GS to fill in the crap.

While on the subject, less mould lines please
or atleast better placed once (like for example; not on the horn of the chaos champ, as its a pain to remove due to the horns ribbed effect)

Suffused with the dying memories of Sanguinus, the warriors of the Death Company seek only one thing: death in battle fighting against the enemies of the Emperor.

I voted other:-

If the cool fluff from the black libary matched the things being produce at GW, i know its been said before, but , what happened with the chaos codex for example, its so missribale now, the " Possesed " CSM look so rubish and the rules for then are worse. If GW paid more attention to the hobby instead of producing codex's just so they can release some naff new model it would make more sence and encorage older gamers like me to buy more. Obviously they want to encorage new game-ers to the hobby like little kids with rich parents but once they see how GW ripped them off they will be gone, Just keep it consistant and the hobby will benifit from game-ers wanting to continue playing long after there pubes have grown or even started to fall out...

I'll never buy from GW again, its all about e-bay, i'd rather pay for a half chewed second hand SM and convert it into something which matches my idear of a possessed CSM than buy from them teefin' ras GW coreprate sell out's, give them some sausage and make them remember what GW was all about...space and the final fronteer(oops thats star trek)

I don't think alot of people realised you could vote for more than one.

I went with the cheaper(s) of course, but also with the out of date armies option.

An Inquisition army(ies) would be my 40k first choice - but the damn things are a decade out of date and all metal. Blech.

Improved production quality would be a small bump too - because I would more readily tackle projects if it didn't mean 3 weeks de-mold-lining stuff.

I put both a little cheaper and a lot cheaper

A little for me because I already buy it at this price point (not for awhile though) and I'd probably buy it more at a slightly cheaper price point.

A put a lot cheaper because I have six friends I have introduced to the game that won't play simply because of the expense.

Once upon a time, I told myself it's better to be smart than lucky. Every day, the world proves me wrong a little more.

I put much cheaper because I think the models are simply to expensive for what they do and I think it takes to long for a prospective player to build an army someone would want to play against.

I'm there with the rest of you on the money. The prices just keep going up and up while average income keeps falling and falling. I also feel like I've been completely abandoned as a xenos player and the other armies I like I'll never buy until there's a new codex and I know they'll actually be supported. Isn't it sad when you have to think that way with a hobby as small as this?

Tired of reading new rulebooks... Just wanting to play.

I went for other mainly because its a combination of things.

The price doesn't bother me at all, I knew it was this expensive when I got involved and I still don't bat an eyelid when I walk into a GW or whatever and drop £100 in the till for some elf cavalry a tank and a dragon thats never bothered me.

I would like to see a faster turnaround on updating older army books I mean Wood Elves are pretty much the Space Wolves of WFB, 6th came out we had to wait till pretty much 7th edition for the Wood Elf Army book to come out, I mean you look to take WFB in keeping with GW's 5 year game life span theoretically next year WFB is due for an update, yet they still need to re do these army books: Wood Elves, Tomb Kings, Beast of Chaos, Skaven, Ogre Kingdoms and Brettonians thats 6 Army Books that still need updating because compared to the new army books they just suck. New models don't bother me (I prefer alot of sculpts from 4th/5th ed Fantasy and 2nd ed 40k to some of the newer ones) its just the lack of support for an army that isnt space marines. Then of course theres the new expansions that keep getting released for 40k taking up alot of the design teams time PLanetstrike cool idea, but it will be like CoD once the honeymoon period is over it will fade into the background and not be played to any great degree (at least from exp) Nids, Tau, Skaven these are all popular armies and definately need a new update soon if not now (please no one mention Dark Eldar).

There is also the issue of the quality of the product lately, if im paying £20 - 30 for a unit I don't want mouldlines the size of Calcutta on the models, if the casting technology has come along as far as GW like to brag about then surely something could be done to minimise this? I mean for the sake of 5 minutes with a laser and viola its done...still thats another one for another day.

I chose for cheaper, more money, new updates to armies, and improvement in casting. Not because I think GW stuff is too expensive, or has bad sculpts, but just because if it was cheaper, or had better sculpts than normal, I'd buy a ton more.

Also, when GW creates new games, they may as well put my name on the pre-order list during development.
