My answer isn't in the choices: I already buy more than I can paint *g* I wouldn't mind the stuff being cheaper, though, of course.

I think the models are way to expensive. Also GW seems to only update armys they like instead of just up dating all of them.

Chaos isn’t a pit. Chaos is a ladder. Many who try to climb it fail, and never get to try again. The fall breaks them. And some are given a chance to climb, but refuse. They cling to the realm, or love, or the gods…illusions. Only the ladder is real. The climb is all there is, but they’ll never know this. Not until it’s too late.

Voted never - The only thing that could get me to buy more minis would be if I suddenly somehow got a lot more free time on my hands. I hate having unpainted and unassembled models lying around (damnit, they deserve to be painted!), and I already have enough models to last me a year or two of painting, since I at most have time to paint about 1k-1,5k pts worth of models every year.

The options don't totally cover my opinion so...
I would definitely buy more GW miniatures if: They were cheaper, not made in finecast and had well written rules.
If they licenced Elric models I could probably give them a little leniency in all three areas.

If you compare the prices to general inflation in other areas, (atleast not here in sweden), the price increase actually isn't that bad...
I have no issues with the expense of the models, it's the terrain prices that piss me off... I mean, you want HOW much for three trees now?????!
I don' buy more than I have time to paint, which means atm, I won't br buying anything 'crpt the occasional paint pot untill after christmas, and for the first two quarters of nex year, I allready know what to buy. Snikrot, if he comes out in finecast, same with the kommando box, a box of grots, and three killa kans... After that, my 2k army is complete, and I'll start making some units to mix it up a bit, mainly using bits. Might spend a little on e-bay, if I find aobr boys for a steal, as I allready have shootas and shoota arms enugh to make a platoon or two...
Terrain though, I'd buy alot more if it was cheaper.
So yeah, I'm an "other".

LESS METAL! I HATE metal models! theyre so unpractical and basicly just a reason to put a high price. With finecast, it should have lowered the price but instead its even more expensive!

For me it's definitely if I had more money. The prices don't really bother me, I get 20% off because it's a staff perk of where I work, but in my 5 weeks of gaming I've spent easily £250+

I build scale military models, and my closet is full of untouched kits.
I also build/play 40K, and I grudging buy new kits (still building my first IG army) only when I near completing what I have. There is no stockpile, no kits that may never be used or traded.

Other:
1.) Start treating customers with a modicum of respect instead of viewing young players as ATMs and older players as contemptible pests.
2.) More reasonable prices. Offering the same model kits but reducing the price by about 10% would be a good start.
3.) More support for Specialist Games (IE, any support at all).

Of course the ludicrous pricing plays a big part, but minis are simply expensive. I can get over that, I just wouldn't buy as much. Beyond that, 8th Ed killed WHFB around here and the latest codex took my Tyranid army out back and shot it. Then stabbed it. Then spat on it for good measure.

I totally agree with number 1. I went to my local GW store, I hadn't been for years and year, and I vaguely knew what I wanted but was willing to open my wallet for stuff that I can't get in either the place I work, or the other GW stockist in town. Soon as I started looking around the manager came over, tried obviously to up sell. I wanted scenery for a diorama, namely the Sanctum Imperialis but he was like "but the Shrine of Aquila would look better", I spent £60 and soon as he had my money, that was it, no more interest, like when I wanted tips on how to do armour highlighting etc he gave me a two second 'talk' and tried fobbing me off as soon as another customer walked in
I won't be going back again, I'd rather just order online and take advantage of the free postage

lower prices, more updates, bigger battalions/battleforce sets(as well as standard because this gak is PITIFUL); it feel i get my moneys worth simply for the work i will put into it & time consumed by DAMN FGW made a mistake showing me whatr they used to sell units as. Not sure why Plaguemarines got linked to an old Empire battalion but ok; its bigger than the current one i tell you that much. Also 10 bucks cheaper.
And for feth sake open a hobby center in Gransd Prairie or Arlington. I don't want to drive all the way to Grapevine mills, pick up a model and get treated like a pest by some two bit ass behind the counter, drive back through Arlington and Dallas to get back home. Not worth the gas, not worth the stress, and the AC in my truck is broken so i am NOT going to spend an hour and a half in that giant armored tank my dad calls a dodge just so i can pick up a box of mdoels that may have melted by the time i get home.
Seriously; OPEN A STORE IN MY ZIPCODE! And no don't just refer me to lonestar comics. Hate the bitch that is always running the store i live closest to. I may be a craven ass hole but at least my job is not in customer service. Besides i hate driving through Dallas. its ot, boring, lot of time on the highway, and did i mention its usually an hour trip IN 100* HEAT!
Want my money? Lower prices, maybe up the unit counts, make the books cheaper & sell fluff-free copies, open a store that won't crucify me for gas money just to drive to. Serious about the first and last items. feth the others just make them a few bucks cheaper & open a store i can easily reach.

Cheaper. I see no reason not to, they have an international fanbase of a million hobbyists, the least they can do is lower the price by 5$. Price is ridiculous for what you get.

I'm in the area of, if their cheaper and if I had the money. With a game and sets of miniatures as popular as GW and with such a monopoly as they have I figured they would relax a bit and give some deals. They may be awesome miniatures but the price hikes are ridiculous.

Other: if the fluff quality was improved- at the moment there's too much inconsistency and plot armour used.
Also, if they were a little cheaper and if old armies were updated.

I voted for if they were cheaper and if I had more money now because it's 30 for a squad of guardsmen.
Other: I wish I had more money and that they kept it when it was 35 for 2 squads of guardsmen and the Battleforce had the Leman Russ instead of a Sentinel and command squad (Although it was still like 35 for a squad of Space Marines so I really shouldn't complain).

Lost in my disturbing mind...

The problem is that GW thinks that they can raise prices because they are so popular, but they're scaring away new customers because of their prices and the people how are still buying (little bit at a time) are getting so infuriated by the prices and disregard of customers, not to mention that their customer base is growing ever smaller because they can't get new customers and they can't hold on to old ones. Their pretty much starving them-selfs of business because they're so greedy.
If they thought to lower their prices by even 10% (or 30%, that would be nice) They could get more customers.
Just my two cents.

If 3rd party conversion bits were embraced by GW, even if is only on a non-compete level of compatible variant products
if GW was not cutting the throat of FLGS's by restricting stock to direct only... I would totally order more sisters stuff but they wont let me order it though my FLGS, screw that I can have my FLGS get conversion bits from a 3rd party instead.
If GW went back to cycling rules with updates via chapter approved via .pdf or even campaign books... also less damn unplayable planetstrike/cityofdeff/bobsagetry... apoc is fine but should be a >3k unlock
on that topic, cant we just drop the bi-polar beta house of forgeworld and just absorb them already... they make cool stuff and lets let them take the red wig off already and join the family.
after all that, sure thing

If they were a little cheaper
If they were much cheaper (gw have to stick with the times if companies can sell 60 better quality models for £20)
If I had more money
If new armies come out (and not more stupid pathetic space marines)
If old armies were updated significantly (and properly by decent writers, not matt ward or JJ)
If production quality was improved (seriously mold lines and flash are pathetic these days, and the quality is awful)
If model/sculpt quality was improved
If there were more third party producers (forgeworld, ultraforge, pig iron, etc)
If new game systems came out (40k + fantasy = BOOOOORING)
Other (write in) (CUSTOMER SERVICE THAT DIDN'T MAKE YOU FEEL LIKE AN ASSAULT VICTIM)
