Not actually being impatient here, just want to make a change to my army and want to know if I should hold out for the prize or just buy it myself. Never won something from them before so I have no idea what to expect. I really don't care if its weeks to months, but having an idea is better then guessing the whole time. If you want something now, I'd go ahead and buy it. Not to burst your bubble or anything but considering how many thousands of people are likely in the draw, your chances of winning are negligible.

Uh...Its for winning a semi finals for ard boys. The 2500pt army. Its not a drawing. You would have to be a very lucky guy to rely on getting something from a draw. Basically I already won the prize. Just want to know WHEN to expect it not IF is should be expecting it. I thought I was being pretty clear on that. Now that's cleared up. Any ideas?

I emailed GW about it, and they said it would be a week or two.

You could always just wait until October and ask for Wolves....

Thanks CatPeeler. I will keep a look out. If they let me stall that long I might try for the wolves. LunaHound it is possible the TO made it clear. I did not expect to win so was not paying attention to his prize support speech. SO really my bad on that one, not his.

Make sure to be very specific with them where to send the prize.. last year my prize got sent UNMARKED to my game store with 0 indication of what it was and who it was for

I have/had the same question.

Was the prize for any winner of the hardboy semis? Or just for first place?

Second round winners: Will recieve communication from GW 2-3 weeks after the 2nd round to ask for army selection. GW will try to honor specific requests but it is up to them what the 2500 looks like. This should ship around a month or two later.

The 2nd & 3rd place people from the semi finals will recieve the online order voucher within 3-4 weeks on their GW online account.

Either way you'll need to get any models the old fasioned way if you want to use them in the finals.

Wow so, how much stuff is the order voucher for?

First place is 2500, which generally works out to be 600 to 800 dollars in stuff. Quite a nice prize.

$100 & $50, I believe.

Gardeth, how did you manage that? I still haven't heard from them to ask me what I want. Every time I ask the TO he says that he's waiting for GW... Also not being too impatient, don't want it for Chi-town...just kinda want to be in the loop.

I called the TO and he called the GW guy and had him call me the same day.

So I find out today that I will not, in fact, be getting my army any day now. I was just contacted again by GW and again gave my army prefence and to which local gamestore would I like it sent. I was a little miffed to be sure, but then I remembered I was getting 2500 points of free stuff and was all smiles again!

Just got my voucher (2ndplace prize) e-mailed to me.

Got my daemon army yesterday! Thing was that it was also my wife's birthday yesterday so I could not properly foundle all the new models. That will have to wait until after work today .
