Just got a look at the new codex, and a 5 model sprue w/ tonnes of bitz... both are looking mighty impressive. SW are looking like CSM/Loyalist combination... and the new leaders/sergeant characters look pretty nifty.


edit: decided i'd take the material down as to not spoil the book for those who are looking forward to it.

send a PM if you have any questions on units/whats available/etc.

Theres a leaked pdf file of the new codex on the web somewhere.

There's always a leaked PDF of every rulebook for every game.

Not that I've ever downloaded any of course.

Actually, I got my information from the codex itself, the store copy at a GW. Very nice book.

it funny that GW hasn't mentioned it yet or gave people a heads up...

Our store got thier codex and sprues yesterday, as i glanced at it, i noticed a few nice new characters (sorry i don't play wolves) and i don't know whats good, but someone said that he is "jacked up" the whole time. Also a new caverly units with space wolves riding giant wolves... the box contains about 5 models and i think 20 heads and enough things to make a convert a few squads.


P.s. GW employees have dubed the new codex as orgasmic

When is the the new dex officaly out?

First or second weekend of next of October. But give it a week and you'll be able to get all the information you need from anyone since the book will have been in the hands of all GW's as well as some of the stronger Independents (i.e. partnership stores like Mikhaila's)

At this rate GW may have all the Codexs updated by 2012, but It will already be too late.

Ok this question may be a little of topic but it's really not worth starting a new thread over and I can find out the answer anywhere so..

Does anyone know if they are bringing out any new SW models and if so which ones. The main reason for this is i wantto know if I would be ok to buy some grey hunters / blood claws for my SW or whether I need to wait until the release

They are pretty much redoing the whole range. ATM Space Wolves are just Ultramarines with an Upgrade Spure.

Well as sad I am that my models will become old Im quite pleased. Maybe now SW will look like SW instead of ultramarines in disguise

Under some optimization point of view, this sounds reasonable.
But model-wise, its a catastrophy.

Well the wolves have always been that big. The only reason people think they are small is because GW made only the WHFB wolves at the time of the 3rd edition codex, so that is what they used.

Makes me wonder WTF I am gonna do with the 2nd edition GH I have, considering these look just so fething awesome.
