[Not exactly 40k, so if this needs to be moved to somewhere, please feel free MODS. (Just let me know where.)]

So in Space Hulk, a genestealer assaults a terminator from behind, but fails to kill him, so the terminator just scoots around and looks at the little bugger. The genestealer has no more AP to try and kill the terminator, so the turn ends. Can the space marine player shoot at the genestealer with his storm bolter next turn, or just walk away for that matter, or does the terminator HAVE to assault the genestealer until one or both is dead?

In other words, do models get locked in combat in Space Hulk, or can they just walk off if the combat doesn't end in one dead?

You don't get locked in combat in Space Hulk So yeah, you can shoot at it even thought you stand next to him, and you can also walk away from him

Try to forget all 40k before playing SH 40k & SH have more or less nothing in common
