Hi all, I've found this website for rather cheap GW products, and I was wondering if anyone else has had any experience with them.

Has anyone ordered from them? I placed an order about a week ago and their website reports no progress on the order. I live in Canada, specifically the West; if some fellow Dakka members live here and have dealt with them I'd like to know how long/well their shipping is.

How did you pay for your order?

I am not sure what Canadian law is like but over in the UK, if you have paid by credit card then you are covered.

You are normaly required to give a reasonable period of time for the company to deliver (1 month is standard) after this report it to your bank/credit card company. What they will normaly do is refund the money straight away and investigate what is going on. If the company is legitimate then you will be offered the goods or a refund, in which case the bank/ credit card company will take the money they gave to you back. If not, then the bank takes the hit and you keep the money.

Also, make sure you keep any emails sent and recieved as the bank will probably request them as evidence.

I paid via my mum's credit card. I myself am not eligible to get one (no job yet due to being temporarily crippled in a bicycle/truck related accident) so I had to use hers. I am investigating Visa's policy on the issue.

thanks mate, it would certainly be nice if everything worked out. it wasn't a terrible amount of money but I'd still like it back if they're not going to give me anything for it!

Update for those who might stumble upon the topic: LMM has issued a refund. I'm not too terribly impressed with the ignored e-mails and many day delays.

Not to mention the shipping costs are rather high (they estimated ~$60) because it's from UK - I think I'm gonna go for a US based distributor like TheWarStore.com simply for cheaper shipping.

It only works once. Then the post apocalyptic mutants eat you. So unless Maelstrom is having one of its extra large discount sales and the GBP conversion is good, it's cheaper to go Warstore.
