Well if you've got a good story to tell, someone who can run it, and a group of enthusiastic players who are willing to play the game (rather than be a bunch'a fethers that keep trying to break the system), then yes, it's fun.

I enioy it much more than the current s*** flavoured D&D (4th edition) that is out and the setting is awsome of course. Plus I have lots of models and materials to use in our games so it worked out really well for my three groups that converted over to DH.

Yes it is. Even as a source of background information the book is fantastic. Same applies to the Creatures Anathema.

I'd also try for the Inquisitors handbook too, practically essential IMO.
Looking forward to the Radical book..but not as much as I am the AScension supplemt. If even only part of what I have ehard about this it true..

The poor man really has a stake in the country. The rich man hasn't; he can go away to New Guinea in a yacht. The poor have sometimes objected to being governed badly; the rich have always objected to being governed at all
We love our superheroes because they refuse to give up on us. We can analyze them out of existence, kill them, ban them, mock them, and still they return, patiently reminding us of who we are and what we wish we could be.

Yeah I have the DH rulebook, Creatures Anathema and Purge the Unclean and one of the members of our group has the Inquisitor's Handbook. All great supplements and all very much worth getting. These days, my miniature dollars are pretty much only going to FFG for these books and other misc games.

Just ordered Rogue Trader as well, and Pre-Ordered the Radical's Handbook.
Going to get our DH campaign going soon now that the test worked out so well.

I like a lot of the Heresy books. The Inquisitor book is a must though.
