Nope, Marine equipment are treated as relics and are passed from dead veterans to scouts and neophytes.
All Marine Chapters try to scavenge and maintain the technology they have, so to gene-code it would be counter-productive.
Plus there points in the codexes and BL books were Marines use weapons and equipment of the fallen, which would reasonably lead us to deduce that no, they are not gene-locked.

The only gene encoded weapon i've ever read about was in one of the Blood Angel books from Black Library. An ancient weapon that would let off a blast that would hurt anything that didn't have Blood Angel geneseed.

Maybe some old artifacts have such gene-locks. Seems likely to be legion-specific , not really focused on a single person.
IIRC, there was a picture of a boltgun with a few descriptions of its components, mentioning a "gene-lock".
But cant find it.
Could be the source of the impression of "gene-locks" as widely used in Space marine chapters.

Yeah, the codex roughly two editions back, I believe had that.
Frankly, I don't see it being an issue. The vast amount of genetic enhancements to the Space Marines would be something that could be used as a sort of gene-marker.
Hell, for all we know there might be an enzyme/protein marker that only Space Marines generate due to the genetic enhancements.

it is not a big issue. just made a a argument with my friends. for a space marine with a thick armor, how could they do a genetic-check. however, from another view, all space marine share the same genetic-seed, so that is possible for them to have gene-lock weapon only for them. but how about those badly mutanted chaos marine.
good to see, there were actually proof for that. but i personally think GW abondan this concept.

Locked to space marines only seems viable. Locked to only a specific chapter would be hard, unless they have a really obvious gene-flaw to tie it to. In that case, likely a group of chapters (so Imperial Fists, Black Templars and whichever the third group that legion split into) could probably use it.
