i mentioned in another forum that Warcanto is a polish company producing a new skirmish fantasy game, i jumped in immediately as i like the skirmish feeling with a few units AND one of the things is the customization process of your heroes... AND that the elves are not the power puff girls of the systmem

Now there are 3 released races (i assume not with the full range but playable nevertheless):

Org`kaa : for all purposses are orcs..., BUT i like the fluff as they are evolved primates
Dwarves: err... dwarves
Lidd: sort of lycanthropes/druids but a race appart NOT humans which can transform

Another three races are on the pipe:

Elves: Nice style as in smurai-esque art work
Humans
Volgars... Bad Dwarves

Here I present some of the art work and some Greens. you can see more things in www.warcanto.com

i am no expert and i have some minis, but it doesnt say they are "heroic" the lidds are certainly bigger than humans as they are NOT humans... but the orcs seem ok... not extremely big, nevertheless we will see exactly how they are once the humans are released

Very Conan the Barbarian with those simian orcs.

Love the Dwarves, like the Lidd, really like the look of the Volgar.

As far as I am aware, 'heroic' means proportionately larger head and hands for the scale, which these are (compared with the 1:# infantry for scale models which are anatomically correct in terms of hand and head size).

That is my understanding of it anyways. So these would be heroic 28mm.
