Well, I had to replace one of my Hvy bolters in my Tact squad. ( hes still AOBR) the legs are AOBR, the torso extra one I had laying around.
Ive become pretty good at modifing AOBR models now... Ive done 20 termies( slicing them in half at the waist) posing them green stuff, same with dreadnaughts.

But Hes my lastest conversion, I have one in each squad. to break up the line up.

I need to green stuff the ammo feed belt, some simple plastic card on the backpack, drill out the bolter , and remove what model lines that are left. total conversion time, was about two to three Hours....( i was watching two movies at the time)

The Loose ammo is from AOBR ork shoota back pack. and the rest of the parts are from devie kits and assault kits.
Enjoy

Looks good, did you leave the tactical squad pads on the others, if you did, you might want to add one on to him.

Okay, I've been on a bit of a hiatus 2011-14

Currently working on my Riot Guard.

No i cut the bolterammo belt from the arm, I had to use a standard bolter arm which i cut the hand off to mount the Hvy bolter at a downward angle( hense first thing you learn in the military never drop your weapon). Hense hes a good marine holding on to his hvy bolter while trying to reload the heavy bolter.
