Just picked up Assualt on Black Reach boxed set with my brother the other week and searched out the 40k online community. I like this site, and it looks like I'll get to quite familiar around here asking clarifying questions, because from what I can tell GW can't write rule books to save their life.

That is untrue and based on falsehoods. When Games Workshop desperately needs to save its life, I'm sure it will manage to write a rulebook properly. But you may want to watch out, unless what you're asking has a concrete answer, the people here will mess you up with opinionated, finicky details. Good luck.

Welcome to dak dakยก You know i really didnt notice the rules issues until i came to this site and read You Make Da Call section and was blown away. I just took them as i read them and played that way.
