We are a small group who does painting services and conversions on the side (well we haven't done a lot of conversions the past few months because we have a guy do it for us now. see below) and mainly just love playing warhammer
40k. We also have a 4x8 table in our shop that, as a project, we will fill it with Space wolves, Imperial Guard, and Tyranids. To further give this project a Tyranid swarmed over feel, we will be making terrain as well. We need to make a lot of nids, maybe a whole bunch more pts wise, than the imperium side (and when I post the space wolves we've been working on you'll understand why we can't make too many of them). Hopefully, everything will culminate into an all-out apocalypse game sometime in the next few months.
We'd be happy to have your suggestions and input. Just a few things though:
- We are still a business (well, sort of) so if in the near future you see a model I posted and no longer see it in a display picture, chances are, somebody liked it and bought it. We have only done a few and already people bought more than half of them. After all, we still have to take care of our patrons. We can still make up for the taken models though.
- Suggestions for Tyranid color schemes or convertions are more than welcome. We plan to make the color scheme of the Tyranids very diverse, to make it look like the hive fleet that was attacking summoned other dormant Tyranid species across this galaxy. So don't be surprised if you see us painting one scheme then shifting to another.
- Imperial guard of course, can be from other schemes, and conversions as well. And
IG player knows that it is not uncommon for guardsmen from other planets to serve along side guardsmen of different backgrounds. This is of course, how the ranks of the
IG are filled.
- Spacewolves colors, have to be uniform. Though there is a lot of room for creativity in terms of how they look like and how they are armed (that's why we chose
SW from all the marine chapters). Feel free to give us your suggestions on what you think would look cool on them.
- We usually prefer not to work with metal figures as they prone to chipping.
I bought these recently acquired conversions from a friend of a friend (I hitched a ride with my friend's shipment). He's a bit old school, no ebay (he says he'll try to have up one soon), and no website, just an email (miniscratchbuilder@yahoo.com). He works really cheap (missionaries probably get paid more) and because of that I had to fall in line since the friend I hitched my shipment with, won't stop hoarding!

The stuff I ordered from him were:
- Tyranid warriors converted to Hive guard x 3 (1 brood), total of $24 dollars for all 3 (or $9 per H guard). Versus getting the Metal(!) Hive guard for $20.
- Tervigon x 2, around $27.50 per Tervie.
- Hydra Flak Tank x 2, around $28 per tank to arrive this weekend.
- Manticore, around $28 per tank to arrive this weekend.
- Thunder wolf cavalry, wolves and marine legs only, x 5, 5 different wolf designs. Around $10 per wolf. To arrive late next week.
NOTE: Only a phone camera was used so there may be some pixelations. Sorry bout that.
============
As the weeks progress we'll be posting developments here. We'd like to think of it as, fluff wise, each army is developing its own arsenal to counter the other and we'll probably be playing using these units every once in a while.
[Tyranids]
The Hive Guard (converted from Tyranid Warrior)
I bought 3 of these and base coated them gray. I took pictures of the other two as my friend Don started painting the Nids.
lol He owes me so I had him do all the painting for now.

I'll get to painting when I have more time, for now I'll just be posting.
We took it back old school and went with the classic Leviatan... Fortunately and Unfortunately, some people liked it and they are currently bidding on it.
The Tervigon
I bought two and immediately I knew I made a mistake of not ordering more.
Don went with Leviatan again... And again, somebody liked it and bought it. I still have one, so I'll probably just ask Donell to repeat the Leviatan scheme. (sorry bout some of the shots, we don't have a decent camera right now)
Automatically Appended Next Post:
[Space wolves]
This is Don's army and he took the whole "Each Space Wolf is unique" mantra to heart as he wants to customize EACH AND EVERY infantry he has. Those accessories and design that each of these guys have here did not come from any sprue. He did this with epoxy putty! That's why we can't have more than 100 of these guys.
The Grey Hunters
The Wolf Scouts
These guys has to look "elite"!
