The Battle Bunker in Glen Burnie, MD is having its Celebrate The Day store birthday event on April 3. Here's a list of special events for that day. Sign up for the events of your choice ahead of time by calling 410-590-8675 or visiting the store.

10AM - Birthday Paint Off! Who ever paints the best model in an hour wins. Model supplied by the Bunker.
11AM - Warhammer Fantasy Battles – The Emperor’s Defense – A 2000 point Warhammer Fantasy Game (1 on 1)
Noon - Artillery Range Round 1 – Any general worth his weight needs to be able to direct his artillery effectively. Winner is the person that gets the closest to the most targets
1PM - Clash of Champions: Warhammer 40,000 - HQ choice only. The winner is the last HQ standing and it MUST BE WySIWYG!
2PM - Warhammer 40,000 – Blood Angel Planetstrike! – A 2000 point game of Planetstrike, don’t forget to bring your bastion. (1 on 1 Games)
3PM - Artillery Range Round 2 – Any general worth his weight needs to be able to direct his artillery effectively. Winner is the person that gets the closest to the most targets.
4PM - Clash of the Commanders: Lord of the Rings - Heroes only. Must be WYSIWYG! The last hero standing wins.
5PM - Assembly Challenge – Who can clean and assemble the most models in an hour? Winner is the most models with a tie being broken by how well cleaned the models. All participants will get their models that they built during the competition primed by the Bunker Staff using the Bunker’s primer. A minimum of 10 models must be assembled to be able to win.
6PM – War of the Ring – Razing the Westfold – A 2000 point game of War of the Ring. (Games are 1 on 1)
7PM – Artillery Range Round 3 – Any general worth his weight needs to be able to direct his artillery effectively. Winner is the person that gets the closest to the most targets.
8PM – Painting Challenge – Who can paint the most models to the best standard in an hour. You must paint at least 10 models to be eligible.
9PM – Clash of the Commanders: Warhammer Lords - only and the models must be WYSIWYG. Last Commander standing wins.

I went in, and got the last coffe mug with a GW logo on it that they were selling. That was cool, imho

I wanted to go to the 9pm "Clash of Commanders" just to try out either Orion or a Treeman Ancient against some other fantasy nasties... but I had another commitment.

Looked like it was a pretty good time overall, at least when I stopped in!

We stayed at the Bunker birthday from opening till evening. It was a fun day. I got some painting done with a friend and my son got in some fun games. My son won the last Artillery Range guessing game of the day.

Don't forget about the next big area event this coming weekend, the customer Bizarre Bazaar flea market at the Annapolis, MD store in Jennifer Square shopping center. There will be raffles too. Details at this link.

I just saw a flyer for that in the Arundel store... I'll try to come check it out!
