So how'd it end up going today? I had to dash out, cutting short my deliberations on where to blow some money, when I realized I had to get Max sooner than I'd thought... Danged big boxes and bags of bits folks brought! It takes time to pick through them...

Any sense of how many people will be there tomorrow?

Valete,

Nice seeing you today as always, John. Turnout at the store was great today with lots of buyers and sellers as is needed to make for a successful flea market. Everyone seemed happy, both buyers and sellers. There were many deals to be had for buyers and sellers were able to get rid of many of their unwanted items. Most of us selling also bought some bargains and bought many shiny new items from the GW store too with our newfound gift cards. It was the best Bizarre Bazaar I've been to in two years and it was certainly better than the last few I've attended.

Regarding tomorrow, some of the people selling today said they could not make it tomorrow, so there should be some table space for new sellers who couldn't make it today if you want to bring some stuff along to show for sale or trade. Some of us will be there again on Sunday, I definitely will be. It's hard to gauge the second day based on today as the second day of flea markets is often slower than the first, but I've still found them often quite worthwhile both for bargain hunting and for selling.

Many thanks to everyone who came by today to sell, trade, buy or all three and thanks for supporting the store with your new merchandise purchases so that events like this will hopefully happen again. It seemed to be great fun for everyone. I'd also like to say a special thank you to the Annapolis GW store manager, Kurt, for the great promotion and support of the event and the amazing efficiency with which the event and the store were both run today. It was a fantastic and fun day thanks to your hard work and tireless efforts promoting and supporting the local hobby community.

Great to hear that it was a big success! I'm sorry I wasn't able to make it down... my wife and I ended up going by a more normal "flea market" up in Baltimore, and got an old side table and painting... one of those "I'd rather be _____" moments (with this fill in the blank being... at the other flea market!)

Sorry you couldn't make it. It really was terrific with lots of nice people to chat with and good deals to be had. Maybe I'll catch you up at the Annapolis store or the Bunker another time. I was at the Bunker tonight and it was nearly dead. I'll be in Annapolis later this week and on the weekend.
