As they have just been released and were only available at one show (so far) where only about 200 people attended (not everyone will have bought them, although some will have bought up to five) my guess is that there are less than 500 out there, in total.

I would imagine that most of the high bidders are from places like Germany and Norway where English isn't the first language so they may not be able to use forums like this to ask for someone to get one on their behalf. It was also probably cheaper for them to pay an additional £25 than travel over to get one in person.
