Since there are rules against sending spray cans usps, I was hoping to find an in-Canada option. Unfortunately, mini wargaming and ebay have come up dry so far...

There are rules against sending spray cans USPS? Weird. The Warstore mails them to me just fine...

Within the US it is ok, but not international... it's the red disclaimer bit on the warstore army painter page. The only way is to pay for UPS, which I would rather not do if I can help it lol.

I've got all 3 shades of their dip and several colors of their spray primers. I'm also a fan of their brushes. I'd call myself a very satisfied AP customer.

Get Krylon primer and or satins or Colorplace from Walmart (like $1/can in the US).
Hmm. I looked at the dip and realized for less money I can get a can of Minwax for dipping and have the added bonus of using any leftover to stain my furniture.

do AP dips leave that same waxy film on the mini's that minwax does?
I am looking for ways to speed up the base coating process, I still plan to give them TLC after the dip... is that feasible?

I guess hit them with a flat clear coat after the dip so that they can be painted over normally again.
There are ways to go about sprucing up a model after being dipped in minwax.

depending on where in Canada you are, there are a few stores that sell time. In Toronto there is a place called Two Headed Dragon that carries the line. I dont know where abouts you are though.

Montreal, there are 2 non-GW mini places downtown, I guess I could check with them, but they don't have online stores as far as I know.

I use the stuff they did under license to Battlefront.
Specifically, the British Armour(Late) and US Armour colors. If you look in my gallery, there's a Kasrkin painted using nothing but British Armour(Late War) and then given a few inkwashes with details picked out afterwards.

Fortunately as a Life-long Quebecer, I am suitably frenchified to make sense of it. Those 3 sites have absolutely piss poor carts if at all though :(

Thanks!
I found a relatively local place though, and they ship free within quebec! www.stratagememiniature.com
Only thing is they don't have the dragon red spray can yet, so I have to hold off. The cool thing is that they also carry things like woodland scenics grass tufts and scenery, and other harder to come by things for hardcore hobbyists too.
