Having looked into Warmachine and realising just how amazing their models are I'm thinking of starting. I plan on doing a Menoth force and ask if you guys could give me any pointers on how to start.

Get the Menoth starter box, and play a few games with it vs other starter boxes.

Where is the best place to buy one of those because i don't know of any local shops that sell them.

You could try Maelstrom games. The Menoth starter box is a good purchace. All the Warjacks in it are good and so is Kreoss.

Ok thanks for the help guys I will get one of those then and start learning to play. Here is a quick question though, is it worth buying the P3 paints or should I just use the GW ones I have now.

Nah, what you've got is okay. Though I'd get other brands if you need to replace some used up (or dried out) colors.
