so far ive managed to make 500pts using this method and if anyone has other ideas please post.

what you will need to make : catachan jungle figters, wood elf glade guard, green stuff and various heads(i recommend ig heads bitz pack or west wind british paras)

1.make catachan normaly with the weapon options, heads you want

2.glue capes on(they dont have to be glade guard)

3.green stuff gaps and make a collar dont blob it on apply thinly

4.for painting use elf flesh for skin, all tanith have black hair

5.vest and trousers are grey and boots ar black

6. guns are black

7. you can do the capes whatever way you want (id do them to macth my terrian)

have fun

They look good but can you get some less blurry pics?

I apologise to anyone who interacted with me around 2009-2012.

I'm interested in what you've done so far and the idea behind this tutorial, but it really, really needs better pics.

If your digital camera has a manual focus option, try that. Otherwise I think there are some tutorials about how to jag your camera into doing what you want it to do.

I'm not like them, but I can pretend.

Hard to see from the pics so far, but they seem to be pretty neat!

To be blunt, those pictures are gak, and in no way show your models in good light, I'd suggest pulling the camera further back as the same thing happened to my dreadnought pictures and should hopefully make your pictures clearer.

Also, Flash might not be your friend here, looking forwards to seeing some re-done pics as I'm interested to see your work

How long did it take you to paint the 500pts using this method?

Flash is never your friend. Take pictures by a window and keep the camera back and use its built in zoom. IF you have macro- do the opposite, move the camera close and don't use zoom.
