The idea of the new forum is for Fateweaver to post about how guns are great and President Obama is terrible.

It doesn't really matter what the forum is about. Anyone can post about anything. As long as it is not about wargames, Fateweaver will introduce a post of how great guns are and how terrible President Obama is.

Then perhaps we can enjoy threads in OT without Fateweaver posting about how great guns are and how terrible President Obama is.

GUNS?!? I am interested.. the other feth.. eh... But we have the OT section so I fail to see the need, so I am assuming this is A sarcastic post!

How about a no-holds bar cesspool forum that is separate from the real debates of the Off Topic forum.

It would be like dividing the OT forum into the Civilized Discussion: British Style Forum and the Lolintrawebs/4chan/inspirational poster Forum.

We got a separate forum for tournament discussion, I don't see why we can't have this.

If we are going to do another forum, then how about a Game specific complaints forum that gets forewarded every quarter to the respective Game manufacturers.


As to Fateweaver. He has a point about guns being great but I think they are out dated. Everyone needs their own Coilgun or even better, a Personal Energy Weapon. P.E.W. for a shorter version of the name that also gives us the excuse to say PEW PEW While we fire our lasers.

As to Obama, Just another in a long line incompetent corporate-state appointed facemen that couldn't lead a dog on a leash, much less a nation. His fall from grace will only be matched by the coming economic collapse. The powers that created his presidency will offer him up as a sacrifce and his own supporters will turn on him and make him this centuries Marie Antoinette.

while we're asking for user specific forums, can we have one titled "Tourny Comp" so a certain user can rant there about how comp is the worstest thing in the world instead of in any thread about a tourney that has it... and another for a certain someone titled "...Sister of Battle..." as it doesn't matter what is before or after the three words since it becomes a SoB fluff thread and argument about how the SoB are da most awshomest EVAR army and so much better than spees marinez!. and finally, a third one called "RAW!" where people are not allowed to post anything resembling common sense or fun, only recite rules (specifically ones that don't work yet must be enforced) in a vogon-esque manner?

edit: i just realized that the above suggestions might lower dakka's post count by half depending on who is on a forced vacation that week. never mind. i want the site to get traffic/ad dollars so that they continue to exist for free loaders like me.
