When I went back home for vacation, I got together with a couple of my friends from back home. We organized a fully painted APOC game. 8000pts per side. Highlighted units include, Ann'Grath, Brass Scorpion, Doomsday Device. On my side I had the Masters of the Chapter, Ancients Assault Force, and a Titanhammer unit. Here is the initial table setup.

Victory for Chaos 3 objectives to 1. I missed having my Warhound. I could have definitely used the blastmarkers. In the end there was too many daemons on the table and they all score...LOL.

wow, you guys really invested in the official GW terrain there! with the ROB boards and official kits, that's at least one grand in plastic before the models even hit the table!

the pics are nice but a little explanation of what is happening would be appreciated too. cool models!

Versteckt in den Schatten deines Geistes.

Love to see more of that big CoD building.

But yeah... poster child for GW terrain. And just think of how much more terrain you could have had if you hadn't wasted your money on several pointless Realm of Battle Boards. LOL!

The majority of the terrain used was Adepticon Terrain. All the ROB tables, etc. with the exception of the tan colored bunkers and the large COD building which is owned by my friend. Like I said, terrain was loaned to us.

Well we had the terrain set up in zones. Bastions represented a PDF base. Skyshields represented a landing field. The woods + rhino wrecks was a previous offensive gone bad (think the highway of death in Iraq). The main COD building is where the chaos HQ was. The gyroscope thing was the Dooms Day device. The silos, and bunkers represented a missile complex+defensive lasers. Yeah, a lot of the sets are the same, but it's all painted and looks good on the table. Plus it was loaned to us so I'm not complaining...LOL.

Looks like a great board.

And to my surprise i believe i have seen the very same daemon army at Ard Boyz this year in green bay. And it should be said, that Skarbrand model is quite awesome.
