For whatever reason (most like router/port forwarding stuff that I've never been able to actually get to work) I am unable to connect to the 40k Vassal server. I can however host a game locally. If anybody wants to play a Vassal 40k game of 1500+ points post here with your IP address and I'll invite you via Vassal.

I tried this earlier. It doesn't seem to work either. I think we'll have to just wait until the servers are back online.

You go to preferences and put direct peer to peer. Then you "connect" which creates the sort of server, and invite people using the invite button and this info:

IP#:port#

I for one would more likely do it by pm instead of posting my IP in a thread, though. If this problem persists, I may have to resort to it.

Personally, I've been wanting to try battlefleet gothic, but it doesnt have the large following that v40k and vassal warmachine have.

Just wanted to bump this. Not sure if the servers have been down or whatnot, but I'm sitting here all alone on Vassal looking to test out a 1850 Blood Angels list for an upcoming GT.
