How do I change a URL link so that it appears as part of the actual text?

Eg: "The new Imperial kit can be seen here", with the word "here" being the link itself.

You can see the format if you mouseover the "url" button in the reply window. To clarify, the format you want is [url=YOURLINK]YOURTEXT[ / url] with the spaces taken out.

I always wondered but it never occurred to me to ask.

You can also make a picture a link in the same way.
Just put the code for the picture in the place of the text that you want to appear.

[ url=Link][img ]Picture URL[ /img][ / url]
With no spaces like Dreadnote's one.
For example this pic of your avatar is a link to this thread.

I must make a mental note of this.

And while we're at it, [ s ] is the code for strikethroughs, like this.
