Just downloaded this and gave it a go, haven't seen a thread for it so decided I'd make one to discuss it.
While I miss the camera from the first one, being able to combine random crap you find around the place has it's uses.
Chuck is also a decent name for the character considering the Frank West jokes that were made after the first one.

Box of Nails + Propane Tank is useful by the way.

So who else has got this "demo"?

This is the most entertainment I've ever gotten out of five dollars. I got all of the achievements in a single day. It's good to see that the series still holds true to all of it's familiar elements, including the difficulty of the timeline. In all honesty, I hardly miss the camera; the workshops more than make up for it.

The paddlesaw (Paddle + Chainsaw) is probably the best zombie-killing weapon ever invented.

Pain is an illusion of the senses, Despair an illusion of the mind.

I sold most of my miniatures, and am currently working on bringing my own vision of the Four Colors of Chaos to fruition

Not a bad prequel. Hope the game is just as awesome when I get it.

Actually case zero takes place AFTER the actual game

I CANT WAIT for DR2 to come out, i played the first game RELIGOUSLY. Even got the Saint acheivment
Like the improvements they made for aiming your damn gun, and creating your own weapons is a great time (Spiked Bat was the best weapon to me) I went ahead and got all the achievments for it too and starting the real game at lvl 5 will be a great help.

I only hope there is a free roam mode though, all the possibilities of creating fun weapons and trying to get achievments will likely get squashed under constant time restraint. In the first one you had to play through the game SEVERAL times to often completing only one achievment at a time. I didnt like that part so much.

Anyone else think Frank will make a cameo in DR2? That would be fun

They say the Emperor protects; tell that to the Orks.

Apparently there is another one coming out after DR2 is released with Frank.

It's always free roam, you're not forced to save people
At least I hope they keep that.

Almost got the 7 day survivor on the first one, had to go do something so left it to my brother. Told him to use one of the healing items each time it gets down to the last block. I was standing on the covered area in the park, roof covered with food (at least at the start). Anyway when I came back frank was dead >_>

I did get a cool sword though

I had a lot of fun with Case Zero and now my girlfriend and I are having a lot of fun with co-op in Dead Rising 2. We've been having lots of Zombie Killing date nights the last week or two.

Inside your mind, corrupting the pathways

I was massively disapointed with the first game.

Might give the second one a go when it gets into the bargin bin.
