This is my first forum that I have signed up to related to Games Workshop. I only found the site not long ago (about within the last week) but it seemed full of goodness so I couldn't help myself.
I've only ever played one full 40K game and one full Warhammer game.
I found the hobby some long time ago when I came across an issue of White Dwarf where they replayed the Battle of Rourke's Drift in which an Imperial Guard force fought off an Ork attack. (Still can't believe I threw it away  )
I collected a Dark Angels army with my brother and dabbled in some models from the Imperial Guard to Orks to Skaven and even a High Elf. I stopped for a while due to monetary issues ( HS student + getting butt kicked by math  and now a college student on a budget). I've been following the hobby on and off since 2002 and am hoping to get back into it within the year (or most likely next summer  ). I've noticed I've fallen behind the times and am looking to collect info on Lizardmen (already purchased their Codex) and creating a space marine chapter for when I get around to starting up 40K again (can't resist the temptation to create my own army, making everything up makes the mouth water   ) and finally all the new fancy updates the hobby has made. Soooo anyways great site and I'll be seeing whoever says hi back around here somewhere
