So I've moved recently. I now live in Bath and I'm pretty lost as to where to find stuff here. I'd like to find both stores and games. I want to start a nice big army as soon as these beautiful new Dark Eldar are available.

I found my way to the Bath GW store but I need to know if that's the main place people play here or not and if any othe rlocal places have good amounts of games to be found. Also any other shops that may be good to buy stuff from. 3rd parties often have good prices on GW stuff and tend to stock a lot of paints cheaper then the very very pricey Citadel Paints. I'd be happy for almost any information at all on what I can find that's Warhammer related in Bath or nearby I don't mind travelling a bit to play if there's a particularly good place. Let's say anywhere closer then Bristol is fine

I'm not particularly good with distance but have you heard of a town called Calne? We have a gaming club that meets for a full day once a month and for evenings twice a month. If your interested we have (some quite poor) forums so you can talk to someone who can give you better directions and such.

It is a little way away but I mean if it's once a month it's really nothing. I could be satisfied with getting a train. Hows the numbers and crowd club? I'm 19 and I've always got on very well with both older and younger players whenever I go somewhere but at the same time I'm not too keen on being in places where every single member is 10 years older then me at least. Are there a couple other teenage players there?

Also how would the attitude be towards those who don't have many models to bring with them? I've got nothing right now. I'm really just getting back into it in a big way after a long time of absence due to the DE announcement. The models aren't out till November and it will take me a while to get a nice painted force together even after that. Would people be very uptight about me arriving with some unpainteds for a while when my stuff is all fairly new?

I am 17 and am at the club. Most people are around either 18 or higer. There are a coupla that are 14 or so but are reasonable mature for their age. There is no young kids (there is the guy who started it, his son. But one isn't too bad.)

And I think it would be fine that your stuff isn't painted. We're not the sort to grumble over something small like that.

Sweet. I'll definately think about coming as soon as November kicks in then. I'll have to ask on your site for some directions.

Now I just need a nice little local store that's slightly cheaper. I'm going to end up blowing half my student loan on 40k and being kicked out because I can't pay rent at this rate. : D

Edit: Although you didn't answer my question fo how many of you there usually are.

The usual amount is arround 12 at this club. The evenings are about 5 but those are shorter.

Unfortunatley I can't answer the shop question.

I'd have to know where to meet him first.

That place seems awesome. Does their store do cheap pricing or should I expect to be paying similar amounts to GW stores there and mainly wanting to go to play rather then buy?

Google Pigmar. I'm pretty sure that started up when the old GW in Bath closed. Lots of the people that gamed in the GW went there I think.
