I just started a ork army...
bought a lot of painted boys and some bikes on e-bay to quickly fill out the ranks of the army. The biggest reason to start a ork army is of course that you can convert and build a lot of cool stuff... so naturally I started whit that right away

so now I have turned this:

into this:

It´s almost done, just some more bigshotas or rokkit launshas and some paint, maybe a grott or two...

Next upp is this:

I really like this model in a general sense - you've done great work making a big battlefield robot fit for a 40K battlefield. I love the Grot on the back too!

But...

It just doesn't strike me as "Orky." It seems a little too sophisticated, upright, and well-put-together looking. I imagine Ork mechs to be really clumsy, hulking, randomly bolted together monstrosities who are terrors on the battlefield because of their brute force and tons of (often misfiring) weapons. This mech, though great in its execution, and really cool-looking, just doesn't seem like what I've described above at all. Now, I'm not the judge of what is and is not Orky, but based on the GW/Forge World line and art, it doesn't fit well from an overall design perspective.

That's just my 2 cents. Please take it in the spirit of goodwill in which I offer it.

obviously you are wrong... and to prove my point here´s a second opinion

But on another note I see what you mean... Personally I think that the legs are to straight, the robot thingy was originally supposed to become a admec knight, but I never got around to finish it. So I suppose that the orks looted it

The plan is to ad more bitz and orky stuff to it... and of course some really big killy weapons

the most freakisly about this is that you CAN run it in a "normal" ork army. use it as a looted wagon!

now off topic your name NEXUS 6 is that a refrance too the wwe? becuase Cena was suckered into the NEXUS he was hit by Husky!!!!

the banner is click able. it takes you to a magical country. if you don't believe me click and see for your self

I was thinking of running it as a count as battlewagon whit a árd case and a deff rolla (the big chain sword...) or get hold of the mega dread rules and use them...

is that wrestling or some thing? being a swede I never understood that... must be something american

No Nexus 6 is in references to Roy Batty the combat android that Rutger Hauer played in Blade runner

I cant take the credit for the dread... not fully anyway. I bought it from a guy on e-bay that used it as a Ad-mech dred or some thing like that. I orkyfied it... or looted might be more appropriate...
the tracks seems to be made from chimera tracks saws of in both ends and glued together, the body is a dreadnought. I added the skull plate, the gun, the mekboy and the claw. the claw is from the battlewagon kit the rest (well not the mek...) is more or less scratch built form plasticard and bitz
