Ive only been into 40k for about a year now, but space wolves have really been my army all this time.
i have approximately 3500 points of space wolves though they're not all painted. my force includes the aobr models, a battleforce and a couple WG and long fangs.
First ill show a couplel of the models ive already painted, and then some WIP photos many of them have a sort of blood splatter painted onto them and almost all need to be based
but onto the models ( sorry for some bad quality pics)

My Wolf Lord Thorgir Frostclaw. in my own opinion its one of my best models (in terms of painting) ever. on his right shoulder pad is my great company symbol.

AoBR dreadnought Jorn the Everspirit.

I really like how the banner turned out on this model (it has the words Jorn and Everspirit)

Blood claws

GRey hunters. as russ is blond on the prospero burns cover, i had to have some blond guys as well.

my iron priest. its a ig model, but as i like the model more than the space wolf iron priest i just gave him a simple backpack and weapon swap, and he fits in with my force

the last fully painted models, my wolf scouts. they are finished, alhtough there is a lot of black on them.

these guys are still WIP, theyre from the aobr set. this squad also has my first wulfen conversion. its onthe right in the second pic

my other WIP models, my 15 WG, of which 14 termies (one termie went into the wolf lord)

and these are still on my desk ready to be painted.
i have squads of six long fangs (one lascannon armed one is missing from the pic) because the dev box comes with a pair of extra legs, and the space wolf frame comes with and extra torso and extra heads. enough for one extra long fang!
also in this pic are ulrik, logan grimnar and a wolf priest, infgir bloodmind

And finally, an extra treat, my WIP Leman Russ (im gonna redo the hair, it looks like a turban.)

This is basically my whole army currently. ill be getting some reinforcements in december at the latest, possibly earlier.
planning on getting a land raider and a couple dreads.

On the first guy i would dull down the gold and highlight the cape a bit more.

I like the bright green on the blood claw shoulder piece. It really pops.

Leman russ's head is too small. it just disappears into the hair and chest piece.

thanks for the replies

crimsonmicc: the colour on the pads is actually yellow, but because of your reply i decided to have a go and ended up repainting the yellow bits with scorpion green (a very light green) and i gotta say it looks better

Fantastic green stuff and nice looking armour Thorgir

The reds could really pop a bit more if you undercoated with mecharite and then highlighted with some blood red to brighten them a bit more and help distinguish the details you are painting them on.

Also, if you have not tried them yet, the GW wash range is a fantastic way to really add depth to a model with very little effort.

Keep up the good work.

Okay, today i've managed to paint the rune priest, gonna base him soon too.
i dont think the pics do any justice on the model, my highlights don't seem to show hardly at all.
but onto the pics

C&C are welcome
