Whilst I don't like the aesthetic of any of the initial races for FA, the Relthoza are very slowly winning me over.

But I read on this site that the game is far from perfect and simply becomes a fight between capital ships with all the lighter stuff getting wasted too quickly?

Personally I don't like FA. It takes the good US basic game and adds a load of crap on top involving little chits and tokens, which just slow down the game and get in the way, without (from my opinion, YMMV) adding any interest to it.

Nice models though.

For me, US is the superior game as complexity =/= better.

Personally I'm getting excited about the US sky pirates. Steampunk, fantasy airship bad-assery FTW! When these hit Maelstrom, I'm in!

Commenting only on the minis themselves that's some pretty awesome designs, but unfortunately, this makes the early stuff look even worse. They redo the basic ships, I'm getting a fleet. Period.

I'm guessing hudsonD is commenting specifically on the FA stuff, I think the US models fit in quite well with the general look of the fleets.

Quite excited to expand my Shroud Mages again, Uncharted Seas has become my second game of choice (still a 40k player) especially when beer and pretzels are near by.

Er,yes, I should have specified I was only talking about FA, indeed.
Great new minis, but the early line is... eew.
