I picked up the Deathwatch RPG a while ago, and I actually think it looks like a lot of fun. Unfortunately, I'll never get to play it due to my gaming group not being fond of RPGs.

So I'm going to live vicariously through you. Show off your Deathwatch character. Let's hear the crowning moment of his exploits in working for the Inquisition thus far.

I made a Space Wolf Assault Marine name Onund. He charges into combat at high speed and rocks house.

The first game he was in he killed an enemy psycher in one hit after busting through an adjacent wall like the Kool-aid man. He then proceeded to pelt Warp creatures in the face with krak grenades while keeping range. They exploded upon death doing around 40 dmg pen 10.

His standard chain sword attack dealt about 1D10+17 Pen 4. It was extreme.

I have come to steal your pornography and sodomize my vast imagination.

Versteckt in den Schatten deines Geistes.

We haven’t started playing yet (still playing our Dark Heresy campaign), but my character will be a Dark Angels Librarian by the name of Gideon Keyes.

He was a Hive World ganger from the planet Tracy in the Scarus Sector until The Rock visited the world. After being recruited (kidnapped!) he trained like most Scouts do until his latent psychic ability emerged during a stressful incident (haven’t worked those details out yet). He was immediately moved to the Librarius and began his training there.

Since then he has been hailed a hero to the Chapter for finding and neutralising a coven of Fallen Dark Angels, and due to this was put forward for service with the Deathwatch. Unfortunately, the truth is that Gideon only did what he did by accident – he sort of stumbled into his fame, and is just a naive young Dark Angel who believes what he believes because he’s been told to, not because of any actual experience. His inclusion in the Deathwatch is a trying one, as he mistrusts all other Chapters (because he’s been told to be mistrustful) and he really hates the Space Wolves (again, because he’s been told to, not because of any actual experience with them – he’s never even met one!).
