Any ideas on wherever it could hold a Reaver in two halves?

I can't help thinking they'd sell more of them if you saved more than 10 pounds over just buying a backup Stompa.

I ordered one of these a couple of weeks ago. Mainly to use as a vehicle pit for my Monoliths, but They'll also be deep enough to hold multiple troop trays, allowing for easier army transport. I just don't understand why they are limited edition.

Yeah, that's the reason why I'd get one. I've got 4 Monoliths to store and there's really nothing that holds them. Will it hold 4 Monoliths?

And they're Ltd. Ed like all their special cases, and like all their special cases they'll likely return eventually. They're seasonal releases.

It can hold two, but probably three if you pack them more compactly.

Probably because they're $80 and they're worried no one will buy them.

I would have considered buying one if it wasn't $80.

You can get an army transport cheaper and they can carry big stuff, just use 2 bigger foam trays and sandwich em together so one is the bottom half and the other is the top half. I've done that with a few big models and it works fine.

Seroiusly guys, making your own case out of a box from the hardware store and foam from a textile place is so much cheaper.

You can even get real flight cases already with foam in on ebay for a good price.

I just purchased my forth normal GW case. It's one of the few purchases that I never regret really. Once you purchase it, it's done. My 200+ FW renegades love em as they are protected and stored well. If I could see one in person, I would love something to carry my greater daemons in that didn't ship me printing paper.

All these suggestions with competing products, could you tell me one that has a hard shell and can take the same outside abuse as a GW hardcase?

Cardboard boxes and other make shift carrying cases are good while starting out. After a while, we all have revelations that nothing can compare to the piece of mind of carrying the troopers to die with their boots on.

What's stupid about wanting to buy a case that stacks with all the other GW cases that I have, and will probably carry most of the monstrous creatures that I own for my WoC army? Just because it doesn't conform to what you want, or you want to fiddle about and make you're own, doesn't mean that a lot of people will take the easy option and get one. There are alternatives, but they too are compromised. It's horses for courses.

You know guys, once you reach a certain size you can just pick up relica pelican cases with pluck foam for cheaper than GW.

They are ment for camera's and good firearms, they do the job right for a fraction of the cost.

The smaller stuff, you really need the smaller pluck foam to properly hold models, but really big ones you can get away with a replica pelican really easily.

and the things are bullet resistant, weatherproof, have 1 way valves that suck moisture out of the case, holders for dessicant, ect. ect. they are really alot nicer.

Well, you more or less pay for the luxury of using their product, so I wouldn't of expected this product to be any cheaper.

If we could refrain from calling people idiots just because they might buy something that they have a use for but you don't, that'd be great.

You know, IF someone liked the idea of sticking with GW cases/sized foams, and IF this thing can hold 6 or more standard GW troops trays, then it's not a bad buy considering it would take 2 standard GW cases to hold that many trays. Which would cost a bit over 100 USD. Would be a lot more convenient than 2 GW cases as well, I think, since juggling 2-3 cases for a single army has always pissed me off, especially if in a tourney. You want ot be able to get at your stuff fast, and that doesnt always leave time for dicking with extra cases to put your crap in.
