So like many others I have picked up some Dark Eldar models and the new Codex. I am attempting to come up with a paint scheme. For the Reavers I am leaning towards a Tron style paint job. Now they arent done yet still have a fair amount of work to do but please let me know what you all think.

I like the yellow and the black, but prehaps you should shade the black a very dark blue to tie it together. Also, if you could you could paint some corsucating energy on top of the dark blue- IMHO I think that would look awsome.

Thanks, the rider isnt attached so it is going to be a bit easier to paint him. I am about to work on him a bit more here in a few, since it is half time now.

Cool, just work on the yellow a little more so that the black can't be seen through it and they will look a lot better. I think it would be cool to do something on the front of the reavers helmet.

I agree, a going-over with the Yellow would be helpful.

But, in principle... cool! If you had multiple Squads of them, I think it'd be cool to do each one a different colour of trim. That'd really distinguish them!

yeah, right now he is more of my trial guy more or less. I am planning on highlighting in white then going over the white with the yellow so we shall see.

Ummm...somewhere...

Lookin really good, but I think the yellow is counteracting with the metal, I don't know if thats just he lighting of the model, but the body should be a bit darker I think, other then that, awesome job so far

I say paint the boltgun metal part of the blade black instead, it will look more menacing.

When you're done, clean up the yellow by painting over parts with black where the yellow lines are uneven.
