Well I've been considering expanding on the theme and I really like the idea of a counts as Dark Eldar army. Basically I really love the theme, color style, and aesthetics of the army and I want to build on what I already have.

Now I'll be re-using my Tzeentch Chariots from my Daemons as Venoms. The lascannon underslung on the model below is magnetized so I can easily swap it out with another heavy bolter to represent the twin splinter cannons.



I think it's a perfect fit for a venom and even is designed to hold the same number of models. The Warriors would be enhanced skitaari similar to the horrors but with smaller guns. Though the horrors may make excellent trueborn w/carbines later. Blasters are going to be "long-barrelled" melta guns that i'll custom build so that they look like they have more range. The beast units will be a blast to convert up as I can make all manner of mechanical beasts to represent kymerae and razorwings. I'm only stumped on 2 units and I'd like opinions or ideas on how to do them.

First one is hellions. The skyboards have me a little perplexed in how I'm going to do them. The simple answer is a variation of my daemon flamers where the torso is directly linked to a tau drone body with a massive 2 handed weapons. But I'm open to other ideas to make this work as I don't think the drone is wide enough to support the gun systems it's suppose to have.

The second is Ravagers. If anyone out there has a Landspeeder Storm and a new ravager and can comment on their relative sizes that would be great. If not I can just extend the hull I think for the Ravager and have side mounted weaponry. Any other ideas are welcome.

For hellions I think you could do some kind of a unit using jetpacks and put them on the flying bases.

Yeah, i've thought about that and I might have to do an internet search for jump pack style backpacks that will fit on standard guard models. If only there were a smaller version of the destroyer body (the bottom, not the torso) since that would be perfect for underslung weaponry....
