You may be able to tell, I am quite a fan of the fluff of the 40k universe (Actually took the format for the above from the Eisenhorn novels). Even if some don't think they're particularly well written (And I'll concede that some aren't as well written as others *cough* C.S Goto *cough*) I am yet to put one down unable to finish it, or even find one that I didn't enjoy. Actually intend to try and write a novel for the Black Library one day......one day.

As for my gaming, I'm coming back from a long break, like a lot of people I've seen posting on here. When last I played, it was 4th edition, so I'm very rusty looking at all the new changes (Especially how quickly assault seems to designed to resolve) such as the current meta, and the like. I last played the Eldar and Imperial Guard, but it seems like the Imperial Guard are getting alot of FotM players at the moment with MechGuard, and the Eldar haven't gotten any love since I took my break, so I've decided to jump on the power armor fanboi bandwagon, and give the Space Marines a go. Got alot more into their fluff over my break, so seemed logical.

Anyway, that's enough for my rant of an introduction post, hopefully you should see me around quite constantly!

PS: Before it's posted, I am actually aware that Venerable Brother is a title given to Dreadnaughts, not Captains. 'Tis a story I intend to tell in short story format, again, one day.)
