Hello again, Dakka-ites, welcome to the episode where I talk about the pain of painting too long. Yesterday I had me a paint FEST!! I got up early, had my coffee, and felt ready to tackle the boss of chaos

; the red lord of khorne!!

BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD!!!!
whoop... Settle down in front...
I didn't jump straight into painting the big guy though (every one knows: white men can't jump [or at least they did anyway

]) I started by warming up on a practice possessed. As he was co-operating and had only details left to go, I moved on to his master. Things went soooo well for about 4 hours.
Do you guys use blue tack on old pots to make a holder for your guys? You know like when you paint? Could you tell me the brand? I think I must have the wrong stuff cause suddenly the sion of skulls took a tumble right onto his boss pole and broke it right off. Ouch!
That was were the trouble started. I don't remember how i got that thing stuck on there in the first place, but i had to drill a large hole in big boys back to get the stick to stick Straight up again. see pics below.

The lesson for this week is make time for to do other things. After you've had a reasonable time modeling, maybe try some yoga

give the paint some time to dry and work on something else. That way you (hopefully) don't take two steps backwards after taking only one step forwards.
I suppose it's all about knowing when to quit.
I never was a quitter though.
I hope you enjoy!
