my first few pieces of terrain, not sure how im going too use the bunker, but it has 2 heavy bolters (SM scout front half, back half of a lasgun for the trigger assembly..., not viewable in photo) bunker was fully painted, but then i decided to plate it with plasticard and ran out of grey paint will take more photos when the sun decides to appear again tell me what you guys (and gals) think, the barricade is made out of popsickle sticks, sprue, and spare bits.

Nice concept, however I personally feel it needs to have more ''wear and tear'' if you get what I mean. Splash a black and brown wash here and there, maybe even rust on the metal areas and yeah I will like it. If you don't like messy models, than ignore this whole comment and just count it as ''Nice work!"

i wanted to do bullet holes and such, but am a noob when it comes to that stuff...but i agree, it looks too new...how would i go about shooting the wall up? (i dont plan on having the bunker be beat up, except some blast marks)

I'm a noob at terrain too. My gaming years have all been about the minis, but I recently painted up an old board with buildings already set in that someone gave me.

It was uh.. well used.. so I just painted all the buildings with slate grey emulsion then sprayed them lightly to look burnt out (and some sand and lichen to look abandoned and the board itself with stone effect spray). I reckon it turned out ok. It's an option?
