So here are a few pictures of what I have so far on my new High Elves. No bases done on these guys yet (obviously) I'm looking for something a little bit different for the bases, just don't know what yet. I'm trying to get as much of the army painted as quickly as I can so alot of details are being left out right now.

Any tips on painting or ideas for bases are welcome.

Prince

Wizard

Sword masters

Phoenix Guard (only have the front row painted)

Thanks for looking

Elves tend to be done with a fair few bright colours. Even GW go a little overboard IMO. These are "dumbed down" which look really good. The silver\red colour scheme just works well.

Currently collecting and painting Eldar from W40k.

Awesome! The red looks great on them. The Swordmasters have got to be my favorite of the bunch.

Snow would look great with this scheme, maybe with small blood spatters.

A snowy owl based griffon would look amazing too :O Hmmm ideas..

I really like that red-silver combo. You don't see much of it in GW painting. Nice and clean, great job.

Wow, nice! Love the red/silver on them, first time I've seen that.

This is going to be one spectacular army

Hmm snow bases. I've never done it, but it would look pretty nice. I just need to find some good examples for inspiration.

Thanks, I really like that "spring thaw" look you got there.

They look solid, good work. A snowbase would really kick them off.
