My very first attempt at painting my 40k models, i learned alot from youtube (jawaballs) and through this forum. I had trouble getting my camera to focus so i apologize in advance. These are some of my crimson fists, it took me a while to decide on the final colour scheme and i did alright, the ice blue looks good on the larger models (terms, and dread) but on the smaller troops the highlights look a bit extreme. (EDIT*** I just finished painting my Captain, i wish the picture really showed you the cape, i did over 6 layers of different shades of red paint on it and it looks pretty amazing to me. New pack and changed the power sword. Also thanks for the positive feedback, and i also apprechiate the suggestions**)

Those are pretty good Crimson Fists. Look for a smaller brush to help with the ice blue details on the smaller models, also keep practiceing.

Thin highlights are hard to do, but with practice you can get them down. They really make a huge difference.

But overall pretty solid stuff for you first try! Keep it up and soon you'll be doin it like the pros.

Superb! Thats some good work there. The highlighting I think is pretty cool... but yeah maybe a smaller brush would do better.

Thanks guys. To increase the quality of the models i would increase the amount of shading and sharper highlights and details correct?

Very well done. You have the technique for sure and your application is already looking better than a lot I have seen. A little more experience and practice and you're going to be producing some truly amazing stuff.

Thanks for all the positive comments and suggestions, i experimenting with my brushes to create ultra fine lines, but i seem to have trouble maintaining my brushes with good tips.

Keep up the practice the army looks great. Only suggestion i have which will make a HUGE difference is to drill out the barrels of the guns, other than that great first army

Nice CF... but the caped captain has his eyes like a Mek boy crawled up his ass... VERY GOOD

Holy hell in a fruitbowl batman! They're amazing considering that they're your first minatures. I shudder to think how my first minis would look compared to them! Keep it up!

I 2nd the drilling of gun barrels, also the skull on the captains sword might need a picking out in something. I like the freehand on the captains sword and gun though! Keep it up
