So I finally managed to finish my RoB, took about a week since getting the paint. Took two coats of arylic paint, I used a very dark brown from Hobby Craft, still got some left for touch ups. I then dry brushed the rocks on the slopes codex grey and picked out the skulls and bones with bleached bone, the bones where then double washed with devlan mud. The lava I did with two coats of orange, then blood red over the top but leaving the edges of the orange showing. I had some static grass already so used some PVA glue and put the grass on the hill tops only. I might add some more grass to the two flat boards as they look a little bare.

Here's some pictures, I did miss off two large ruins (they're on the shelf behind) so the board is a little fuller with buildings normally.

Looking good. Proper table and terrain is as necessary to enjoyment as a nicely painted army. Have fun!

The camera I've had for a bit. I did use my Iphone for a bit which is pants but been using the camera for sometime, it depends whose house I play at as some have better lighting than others.

yeah, the RoB is bigger than my dining room table so still some balancing but it's a much bigger room to play in on a much nicer board. Let me know when you're free mate so you can come and play on this bad boy
