Gladius is probably one of my favorite
RPG's of all time. The story was crap, the voice work atrocious, and the Characters bland and uninspired, but the gameplay. The gameplay went above and beyond and kept me playing the game for somewhere in the area of 400 hours over the years. About the only thing I could ever say against it would be that the classes were not well balanced (which wasn't much of an issue in a mostly
SP experience) and that the AI could of been less dumb.
My favorite classes were the Murmillo for just how awesome the Murmillo's were, and I was rather fond of Secutors, Bears (both these class were strong on their own, but with some
OP items became nigh unstoppable if played right), and Gungnirs as well.
So, am I the only person who played what Game Informer has aptly called the best game no one will ever play?
