Black colour dont look good on tank. Make it look damaged and change earthshaker and makeit look orky.

Needs more Ork

bang it up a bit and add a couple of orcs and it will be a bit better.

I think it looks a bit too clean. It looks like it was never used in actual combat. Also agree with the "more ork".

It does look clean. I too play Bad Moons and I personally like my vehicles looking a bit cleaner. I do agree though, it need a little more ork to it. And by that I mean, more then a basic IoM chassis with a couple parts slapped on.

Over all though it looks like a pretty nice BoomGun man

Yeah! I'm building a Bad Moonz army too, and I like your wagon LakotaWolf, the dry brushing on the metalwork does look quite subtle though. Perhaps you could emphasise some individual parts (extra drybrushing? or different metalic colour?), so that there is some contrast between areas of armour, just a sugestion Looks great

Looks really good...a bit to clean for my Orky taste, I would mess it up with a bit of dirt & rust, but then again Bad Moons are posh gitz

The best way to make a looted wagon is get an imperial tank of some kind, beat the st out of it with a hammer/ cricket bat (or baseball bat, whichever is prefered), then try to fix it using only ork spare bitz (I got quite a good result after smashing a leman russ with a hammer and building an orky engine inside from stompa and burna bitz).

A few things I would do to make it "more orky" as people have mentioned:

1. Add some chain or barbwire around the cannon barrel.

2. Take a dremel or your tool of choice and add some random scattered shell/bullet impact marks

3. Add more glyph plates

4. Put some dags or checkerboard on it in a few places.

5. Beef up/add a bi exhaust onto it

6. Add some rivets to those yellow plates as right now they appear to be floating rather then being attached

7. add a bosspole/glyh pole tot he back platform

8. Add some more armour plating to the sides/chassis

9. add a deff rolla

Those are just a few things that come to mind off the tp of my head

Better =) But still looks a little too clean for my taste, try applying a generous amount of Devlan Mud to the yellow parts, unless your intention was for it to look clean of course!

Yeah, maybe a grot hanging on to the barrel. What you could do is cut the barrel down, and glue on some spare shootas and big shootas onto it. All of my boom guns are made of about 20 guns all glued together.

It's a well-executed conversion job, but it seems a bit plain.

I would agree with others that the yellow armor plates need rivets. This would both make them look more attached, and also break up the yellow with little metallic rivets.

A dozer blade on the front, especially if it was painted with Bad Moon iconography, would make the entire tank look more "orky" with relatively little effort.

Ork glyphs (either on plates or painted on the body) and some yellow dags would also break up the Imperial lines of the vehicle for relatively little effort.

The big gun needs either Bad Moon flames (black on a yellow background), a rude insult in misspelled low Gothic, or a grot somewhere on the barrel. It just does.

To make a short comment long, it looks very well done, but I think it could look much cooler with a little more Orky kustomizing.

i have to admit i am a clean painter and that sometimes doesnt fit well with orks.......didnt bother with rust or battle damage


my marines armor is always clean
