I do like the format of:
1. speeding up the Movement
2. Labeling what's happening in red (although, as the one comment suggested yellow would do better against that mostly green table)

I suggest interspersing the occasional angled shot. Also, see if you can get a Game Turn in under 3 minutes of Viewing Time, meaning a lot more accelerated shooting/FXs. 25 to 30 minutes to watch a Batrep of a whole game is too long.

The camera was Mounted on a Frame that is used to hold up back drops. We literally tied it up with plastic from a Tau Starter box that was in the trash.

Thank you so much. The table is one made by The Chicago battle Bunker staff. If you get a chance you should go they have really really nice tables to play on.

Really interesting way of filming that mate. I do agree that you should intersperse the top-down stuff with close in shots of the models (especially if you use painted armies) to give a bit more of a sense of the action. Maybe start the game by panning around the table to let everyone see the terrain as you do?

And also, even a very interesting battle report, I wouldn't really watch for more than 15 minutes max. I'd try to get it down to 10-12 minutes for a whole report. That should be manageable for up to a 2k game.

Really wish I could! Unfortunately, that ticket out to the US would cost be a lot of money!!!

That was a fantastic report. I really do hope you make more of these!

Truly original with the over-head view as well.
