Hey Dakkites everywhere just thought we'd post up on one hell of a day.
So myself, LovelyLozza101 and blaze6012 (alongside another friend who isn't on here yet) decided to make a day of it, 1000 points each and sort of a play-off set-up, although we only had time for 3 games.
First up was me (Biel-tan Eldar) and blaze (Space Wolves), as we only played once before and I got soundly beaten so it was hopefully time to regain a bit of honour.
Basically we would all get a game, lozz played craig (the guy not on here yet) second as they not played each other before.
I will fill everyone in on army lists, or ask they guys to post what they had I'm gonna give a brief overview of every game.

So yeah as already said my Eldar went up against blaze's Wolves of Fenris (I'll ask him to post his list up soon)
My army went as follows:
HQ
Avatar

Farseer - Spirit Stones, Guide, Doom

Elites
5 Striking Scorpians - Exarch with Scorpian's Claw and Stalker

7 Howling Banshees - Exacrh with Executioner, War Shout and Acrobat

Troops
10 Guardian Defenders - Starcannon

8 Dire Avengers - Exarch with Shimmer Shield & Power Weapon and Bladestorm

5 Rangers

Heavy Support
Wraithlord - Wraithsword and Strarcannon

So...
Onto game one - should also point out we just went with a standard 6 turn game and if there was no clear winner by the end then we would total up VP's.

The game started really well for blaze and the first couple of turns his Long Fangs and Land Speeder accounting for some Banshees and Avengers, not to mention all 5 Rangers that were hidden in the ruined building. Things started to turn around 4. Canis Wolfborn charges into the Guarian squad (who were responsible for most of the Wolf Guard Termies. Steams in and slaughters the lot (no thanks to the Eldar being Fearless due to their proximity to the Avatar). The Avatar finishes off the WG, but is later blown to pieces by the Long Fangs.
The Scorpians win the Eldar left flank but by the time they finish the Grey Hunters off they are pretty much left out of the game.
On the right the (much depleted) Banshees team up with the DA's to wipe out the Grey Hunters facing them and move onto the Long Fangs

With Canis' death and the loss of both flanks the game ended in a resounding with for Biel-tan. Game 1 over and done with.
Game 2 was an absolutely brilliant game (and includes the greatest comeback I've ever seen) it was also the closest one we had all ever experienced.

The armies involved were our Craigs Tyranids versus LovelyLozza's Kabal of the Shrieking Sun

The opening turns went well for the DE, the Raider taking a number of wound from the warriors on thier left flank.
The momentum then swiftly changed. The Genestealers on the 'nids left tore through the Hellions and then the mandrakes with neither unit being able to even hit back.
Lelith and her entourage of Wyches jumped down from their Raider, which then went 'stealer hunting (and having some fun with its chainsnares), leaving the Wyches to charge head first into the Warriors.
It was a disaster for the Dark Eldar, losing 7, causing enough wounds to kill one warrior and leave the other 2 on thier final wound each. The worst part was watching Lelith fail her morale and fall back 12" with the remaining 2 Wyches, leaving the Archon & Incubi (who were now locked in combat with the stealers) and the Warriors, who had just earned their 1st pain token annihilating a unit of Hormagaunts.

The Warriors and another unit of Gaunts finished off the Warriors completely, leaving only 2 Wyches, the Raider (still out having fun), Lelith and a unit of Incubi that was slowly being dragged down against Genestealers.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
The turning point of the game only came about due to the Raiders crew being shaken. In a now infamous 'Heck, why not?' moment the Raider decided to make a pass over the central Gaunt and the Warrior broods, hoping to make a number of kills on them both. 3 Gaunts were killed, a drop in the ocean really, but the Warriors were a different story. 4 chainsnare hits, 3 wounds and 2 saves failed meant that both warriors lost their last wounds, leaving the way clear for the now rallied Wyches - who went on to kill all the Gaunts on the nids right, completely turning that flank against the odds. In the centre, the Incubi were slaughtered, but in return the Genestealers were also finished off along with the Tyranid Prime. The Archon passed his Ld test, doubling his strength due to his soultrap helping to finish off the Stealers and gain his second pain token in the space of a turn.

In the final turns, Lelith and the last Wyches were finally killed by the Hive Tyrant, who had only lost one wound throughout the whole game at this point. With only the Archon and Raider on one side and the Tryant on the other, it was extremely close and went down to the wire. Both leaders squaring off against each other (and with the Archons Shadowfield still functioning) the last combat of turn 6 began. The Archon took one wound from the tyrant, leaving him at half wounds (and conceding half his points in the process), for no wounds in return. The Shadowfield did short out, but his feel no pain had saved him from a rather nasty instant death.

Totalling up the points, and against the majority of the play and the luck, the Dark Eldar had emerged victorious - turns out that it was that last wound taken from the Tyrant tipped the balance at the last minute. Game 2 and the best game of the whole day over and done with. The space-elf family feud became the proverbial 'final'

Unfortunately it wasn't as exciting as the previous 2 games and appalling dice luck on Lozza's behalf left the game over after turn 3 due to:
1. The Raider (and half the Wyches) being blown sky-high in turn 1
2. A war of attrition between mandrakes and DA's for the entirety of the game leaving the Mandrakes totalled.
3. The Avatar striding in and finishing off the Wyches bar the Hekatrix and Lelith.
4. The Archon turning tail and running after the Banshees pulverizing the Incubi.

and so we left it there, it was late, the kids were tired and we were just as wrecked but it was an awesome day of gaming.

I would also like to apologise for having to constantly reply to myself, i have no idea of how to post pics without them just sitting at the bottom, plus its late so I wasn't gonna experiment to try it out lol

Also, as posted earlier, LovelyLozza and blaze6012 will post their army lists and anything they wanna add (or I missed) and we'll also try and get the 'Nid list up though Craig may end up joining here to do it himself
So yeah, thanks for reading peeps

Hey there, wow foo's been busy lol as promised i'll shall post up my army list in a sec this has been an epic day tho it does suck that i haven't managed to beat foo's eldar yet. However i am determined to keep at it until the eldar's dark cousins emerge triumphant.

What i took:

Archon w/ huskblade, shadow field, ghostplate armour and a soul trap - 145

Lelith Hesperax - 175

10 Kabalite Warriors w/ shredder, splinter cannon and sybarite w/ blast pistol and agoniser - 160

9 wyches w/ shardnet and impaler and hekatrix w/ venom blade - 115

5 incubi w/ klaivex, demiklaives, onslaught - 160

5 mandrakes w/ nightfeind - 85

5 hellions w/ helliarch, stunclaw - 95

raider w/ chain snares - 65

total = 1000

in hindsight i think i would be better off investing in a unit of reaver jetbikes and a ravager. i also need more to shoot with as that proved to be quite effective against that swarm ;P

Cool report, but there is a problem with the Tyranids/DE fight.

The Archon should not have gotten a FNP save against the Tyrant. FNP cannot be taken against things that do not allow armor saves, and Monstrous Creatures ignore armor saves in CC. Archon probably should have been squished.

You don't get FnP from MC attacks, it should have pasted that archon.

And whilst you're pointing and shouting at the boogeyman in the corner, you're missing the burglar coming in through the window.

Well, Duh! Because they had a giant Mining ship. If you had a giant mining ship you would drill holes in everything too, before you'd destory it with a black hole

Yeah I got beaten but I held my own. I'm really pleased with my Long Fangs blasting foofighters avater into the ground. But my army list was purely a list min throw together.

After having time to think about a 1000pts set up im going for

HQ:
Wolf Lord;
-frost blade
-storm shield
-thunderwolf mount
-wolftooth necklace
-wolftail talismen
-saga of the bear/worrior born (dunno what one yet)

Elite:
Lone Wolf
-Terminator Armour
-2x Wolf Claws

Troops:
10 Grey Hunters
-plasma gun
-powerfist
-wolf standard

10 Grey hunters
-melta gun
-powerfist
-wolf standard

10 Blood Claws
-powerfist
-melta gun

Heavy Support
5 long fangs
-4x missile launchers
-plasma cannon

This brings my total to a neat 1000 points and gives me a bit of diversity.
Next game will be good. Hoping a win for the Wolves.

Not to mention you do not get fnp if you are about to be instakilled. Also, the wyches should not have been able to regroup because they were at less than half strength. Lelith should have been condemned to fall back with the two of them unless they were killed. I'd say the tyranids won the game.

Cool reports though, good job!

Yeah my squad was:
HQ:
Canis Wolfborn (not the smartest choice but the only HQ I have at the moment

Troops:
10 Grey Hunters
- Plasma gun
-Powerfist
-Wolf Standard

10 Grey Hunters

5 Long Fangs (cant remember equptment of the top of my head but they took down the avatar which means they rule lol.

1 Land Speeder with Assault Cannon

5 Wolf Gaurd Termies with; Thunder Hammer and Storm Shield, Power weapon and Storm Pistol, 2x Wolf Claws, Chainfist and Assault Cannon, Powerfist and Storm pistol
