Hey there.
I'm planning on starting an online dark heresy campaign. possibly via msn (so evryone involved should be on each others list). my first game i think should be a small one either one of my own or one that came with the gamemaster kit so that evryone gets xp and gets used to their characters. I will be the GM and am looking for min 3 - max 5 acolytes. the varied the better. all acolytes should be starting level (i will allow the 400 xp purchase of 1st level upgrades). i will send maps i make etc, via email/msn. and would like any character lists sent to me, pdf blank can be found here ;- http://www.fantasyflightgames.com/ffg_content/dark-heresy/pdf/writable-pdf-colour.pdf time wise will be uk time (GMT) possibly day time or early evening (looking at Wednesdays). any questions please ask. tt4n

ps. as with the dice honesty is the best policy. but webcams help (by rolling on camera)

Some advice for you, coming from someone who has already started and has been running an online DH group for 7 or so months now:

1: Use Skype. It's better (In all respects) than msn, and you can download a Dice roller addon for it. (The addon is extremely temperamental though) Personally, we use text chat rather than a webcam or mike, but if your players are comfortable with either of those, then go ahead. I find text chat does make it easier to RP descriptively though.

2. Players you find on the internet will not always stick around. There will be Real Life issues, and there will be dropouts. Unless you have a good system for dealing with these, you can expect your campaign to falter as people don't turn up. This is especially devastating with small groups.

3. If your group grows beyond 5 people, split it into two games. This makes things easier to manage and helps with availability issues.

4. If you don't manage to find players (My group probably has many of the Dakkanaut ones), then send me a PM and I'll see if you can join the next game that runs in my group.

If you have any more questions, post them here or PM me.

For more players, post an advert in this thread. Note, posting there didn't get me any, but then, I already have a good, stable group.
